剧情：

Robert Thorogood, the creator of"Paradise Island Mystery," has recently released stills for the all female detective TV series"The Marlow Murder Club" written by PBS Masterpiece and UKTV, and confirmed that the series will premiere next year. The original work of this book was published in 2021, and the story revolves around the protagonist played by Samantha - a retired archaeologist named"Judith" (played by"Lady Rosamund" Samantha Bond in"Downton Abbey"); She lives alone in a somewhat old mansion in the peaceful town of Marlow, passing the time by doing crossword puzzles for the local newspaper. One day, while Judith was swimming in the Thames wilderness, she heard gunshots coming from her neighbor's garden and was convinced that a brutal murder had occurred. When the police were unwilling to believe her story, Judith discovered that she had formed an unlikely friendship with the local dog walker/empty nest elderly man Suzie (played by Ruth Jo Martin in Doctor Who) and the unsuccessful pastor's wife Becks (and Zelda Cara Horgan in Sleeping Demon), and the three of them began their investigation. In the end, everyone was asked to assist in a police investigation led by newly appointed"Tanika" (played by"Aliza" Natalie Dew in"Truth Hunt"). Judith and her friends must piece together clues, interrogate suspects (witnesses), and face real danger, while they race against time to track and stop the killer.
