The film focuses on the summer of 1957 and tells the legendary story of Ferrari and Maserati vying for the dominant position on the track. One morning, the wife of former racing driver Enzo Ferrari received two phone calls, informed that Jean Bella had just arrived from Milan overnight. Discovering that Ferrari was not at home, his wife Laura was very angry because the two had been maintaining a nominal marriage and had agreed to have coffee together on time every morning. When Ferrari learned that Bella had come to Milan specifically to challenge Ferrari's racing record, he called his friend Mosolini for help. The infuriated wife fired directly at Ferrari and told them that their company was going bankrupt. Their son Dino died of muscular dystrophy two years ago. When Ferrari was immersed in feelings of loss and sadness in the church and cemetery, Bella was already poised on the track. Accidents kept happening, and his track friend Mosolini unfortunately passed away. Ferrari has no choice but to face the dangerous Mile Milia and obtain sponsorship funds. The Mile Milia race is arduous, passing through valleys, forests, grasslands, rapids, and encountering extreme weather such as blizzards, filled with danger everywhere. Along the way, Ferrari and Maserati and other racing cars experience intense life and death struggles. The racing car constantly experienced accidents, and Ferrari was charged with manslaughter in the Gideolo race accident, ultimately acquitted by the court. After Laura's death, Ferrari was officially recognized as the heir to the Ferrari company. In the following year, Ferrari won the World Championships again, and his red racing car became the most dominant force in the world of racing.The script for the film is adapted from the 1991 novel"Enzo Ferrari: Men, Cars, and Races" by Brock Yates.
