剧情：
主修临床医学的白诗洲是国家培养的医学定向生，到仙草村做了一名乡村医生；仙草村卫生室老中医李长生几代行医、远近闻名。一老一少两位医生，在一个卫生室展开了中西医大斗法。渐渐地，白诗洲发现，被他轻视的中医虽然短期见效慢，但能够治根，与西医能够形成良好的互补。而李长生也认识到，农村常见的慢性病只有在中西医的配合治疗下，才能更见疗效。从此，一老一少、一中一西，两位医生彼此抛弃成见，中西医融合互助，相偕给村民看病，成为乡村健康守护神。在治病救人的同时，大学生村官王亚男发现了致富良机，技术指导村民种植药材销往全国，备受市场欢迎，仙草村逐渐实现了小康目标。而经过三年乡村医生生涯的白诗洲不仅爱上了仙草村的一草一木，也在这里收获了与王亚男的爱情，决心留在仙草村，继续和李长生一起守护村民的平安健康。收起
