剧情：
Totallyunawares,Saverio,ateacherandMario,ajanitorofthesameschoolinwhichtheybothwork,travelbackintimeandfindthemselvesincentralItalyattheendofthe15thcentury.TheycarrywiththemanunresolvedsquabbleconcerningSaverio’ssister,creatingalotoftensionbetweenthetwo,whichwillincreaseintheplot.Fromthismomentontheywillhavetocometogripswiththegrotesquesituationtheyfindthemselvesin,tryingto"hitchalift"backtothefutureinamostoutlandishway,usingandmisusingtheirforesightoftheeventstakingplaceroundthattime,andgenerallymakingfoolsofthemselvesintheeyesof"normal"renaissancefolks.TheirmeetingwithLeonardodaVinciishysterical,whentheybecomemoreandmoreconvincedthatthegeniusisinrealityamoron.AnothercharactertheymeetisSavonarolatheheretic,whoenjoinsthemtorepent,beforeheistakentothestake,elicitingsomebreezycommentfromthem.Ifitweren’tforaweirdkindofhomesickness,theywouldquiteenjoylivinginthisperiod,fullofdaringfashionsandtantalisingdamsels.
