剧情：
1996年，香港警方预备在回归前夕涤荡黑帮势力，营造法制环境，戴先生掌控的社团首当其冲在打击范围之内。是夜，戴先生社团五大堂主之一的占米被人暗杀，身中两枪生死未卜，占米之妻张桦（蔡少芬 饰）远在台湾，授意保镖伍宝（余文乐 饰）代理老大一职调剂各方关系，阻止老二黑水（杜汶泽 饰）向其他四位堂主寻仇，咖啡（黄贯中 饰）、木星、沙纸三位堂主闻风而动，在乱局中各有盘算。真实身份是警方卧底的伍宝当夜宿醉难耐，又要在短短几小时内周旋于社团、黑水与警方之间，暗恋伍宝的亚玲（江若琳 饰）跟随相助，但社团混战随时可能爆发。另一方面，掌握了真凶的警方暗中布置，趁机派出内应把事件复杂化以便将社团一网打尽……收起

In 1996, the Hong Kong police were preparing to clean up the gang forces and create a legal environment on the eve of the return of China. The community controlled by Mr. Dai was among the first to be hit. On the same night, Zhanmi, one of the five main hall leaders of Mr. Dai's club, was assassinated, with two shots in his body. Zhanmi's wife, Zhang Hua (Cai Shaofen), was far away in Taiwan, instructing Wu Bao (Yu Wenle), the bodyguard, to act as the first leader to adjust the relationship between the parties and prevent the second black water (Du Wenze) from seeking revenge against the other four hall leaders. Upon hearing the news, the three hall leaders, coffee (Huang Guanzhong), Jupiter, and sandpaper, each had their own plans in the chaos. Wu Bao, whose real identity is that of a police undercover agent, had a hangover that night and had to navigate between the community, Blackwater, and the police in just a few hours. Yaling (Jiang Ruolin), who had a crush on Wu Bao, followed and helped, but a scuffle could break out at any time. On the other hand, the police who have mastered the real culprit secretly arranged to take advantage of the opportunity to send inside agents to complicate the incident in order to capture the entire community
