The revolutionary historical film"Commander Wang Liang" tells the legendary growth experience of Wang Liang (1905-1932), a famous general from Qijiang, Chongqing, in the early days of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, focusing on his revolutionary military career from 1927 to 1932. In early August 1927, Wang Liang, Luo Ruiqing, and others originally planned to participate in the Nanchang Uprising, but when they passed through Jiujiang, they were blocked and detained by rebel warlords. After successfully escaping, Wang Liang, with the help of Qijiang villagers Liu Sihai, Yang Chunfa, and others, traveled to Xiushui to join the Autumn Harvest Uprising team. When attacking Jinping, he initially demonstrated his military command skills. On his way to Wenjia City, Wang Liang met Comrade Mao Zedong, and from then on, he firmly followed him and entered the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base. Under the leadership of the Red Army and the Red Guards, Wang Liang skillfully used guerrilla tactics to defeat the majority with a small amount, winning the defensive battle in the Huangyang border. He was appointed battalion commander of the first battalion of the 28th Red Regiment. When the Red Army attacked Changting, Wang Liang led his troops to engage in a fierce battle with Guo Fengming's troops, achieving victory. Later, he was promoted to the division commander of the 10th Red Division, and in the first"anti encirclement and suppression" campaign, he led his troops to capture Zhang Huizan alive and captured enemy radio stations. After the establishment of the Chinese Soviet Central Government, Wang Liang was promoted to the rank of commander of the Fourth Red Army. He participated in the Zhangzhou Battle with Luo Ruiqing and Su Yu and won the victory, becoming a famous military commander in the early days of the Red Army. In June 1932, on the way back to the Central Soviet Area of Gannan, Wang Liang died tragically and heroically at the age of only 27.
