 《Shaolin Muren Lane》 introduce

In order to avenge the murder of his father, the Shaolin Dumb Apprentice (Jackie Chan) learned martial arts. He began by carrying water and chopping firewood, toiling through his internal skill foundation, and learning martial arts from the Wooden Lane. The tragic situation of his father's death and the release of the Five Nuns who lived in Shaolin made him bite his teeth and persevere when he was tired. The mute disciple found an old strange man named Fa Yu who was locked up in the forbidden area of Shaolin. Fa Yu was not like a Shaolin monk. However, thanks to the care of the mute disciple, Fa Yu instructed the mute disciple who did not yet have the qualifications to learn Shaolin martial arts. During this period, the mute disciple's senior brother broke into the Wooden Lane but failed in strength and returned home. Nun Wumei saw that the dumb apprentice who was studying martial arts alone was ruthless in his moves. He was taught the Eight Steps of Snake Wings to regulate his mind. After being taught by Fayu, the dumb apprentice successfully beat out of Wooden Lane and was able to learn to go downhill. Fayu ordered him to bring a token to contact the Jianghu gangs, triggering a Jianghu fight, and the dumb apprentice discovered his true identity

少林啞徒弟（成龍飾）為了報殺父之仇而學武，從挑水砍柴做起，苦熬內功基礎，打出木人巷學成武功的情形時時出現在他的夢中，父親被害的慘狀和客居少林的五枚師太的開解令他在疲乏時咬緊牙關堅持。 啞徒弟在少林禁地發現了被鎖住的老怪人法愚，法愚不似少林僧人，但有感於啞徒弟的照顧，法愚指點尚不具備學習少林武術資格的啞徒弟武功，期間啞徒弟師兄闖入木人巷卻實力不濟鎩羽而歸。 五枚師太見獨自溫習武功的啞徒弟出招狠辣，隨傳授蛇翼八步調理其心性，經法愚調教，啞徒弟成功打出木人巷，得以學成下山，法愚令其攜帶信物聯絡江湖幫派，引發江湖搏殺，而啞徒弟又發現了法愚的真實身份……
